Since 1990 the Perth Mint has released silver bullion coins annually featuring different designs of the Kookaburra, a bird native to Australia. These coins are available in different weights and in many special editions, with the most popular being the 1 oz. coin. Perfect for home or office; attractively designed black display case with Kookaburra images on both the outside and inside of the lid. Inside tray is covered in black velour and has 20 spaces, each with a diameter of 45.4 mm (1 3/4 ”) to accept 1oz silver Kookaburra coins in their original coin capsules from the Australian Mint. Display box includes: * Elegant hand-crafted coin case in matte black finish * Secure Magnetic closure *  Padded lid lined in black satin with ribbon to hold a personal message or certificate *  20 spaces with a depression for easy removal of coins *  Solid durable construction *  Silver color plated hinges

Note: If original coin capsules need to be replace for 1oz silver Kookaburra coins they will fit into a Model H40 Airtite coin capsule with an inside diameter to accommodate the Kookaburra coin and outside diameter of 44.45mm. Airtite coin capsules will fit into the spaces in this box, however they’re 1mm smaller in diameter than the spaces in the tray.
